Black Bean Brownies… Seriously!
I’m not even going to pretend like I know how to bake or cook so don’t get it twisted… I scour the internet to try to find healthy recipes that taste good and the ultimate test is when my husband likes and eats whatever I make! I have to watch my weight; if I just look at a piece of pizza I immediately gain a pound so I try to find recipes that are delicious yet low-fat, low-calorie and healthy. Not so easy! So when I find one that’s great, I’m going to pass it along for you to try as well! Here’s all you need:
- 15 oz can black beans
- 19.5 oz box chocolate brownie mix
Open can of beans, drain and rinse well- I put mine in a colander and made sure to wash out as much starch as possible. Then, I put the beans back in the can and filled the can with water. Put beans and water in blender until smooth. Mix pureed beans with brownie package mix. DO NOT add eggs or oil. Spray baking dish with Pam. Cook brownies according to package directions. Cool and serve.
I’m not even kidding you. These taste SO GOOD and you don’t have to feel guilty… unless you eat the entire pan 😉
