I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…the only people who think working a red carpet is fun are the people who have NEVER WORKED A RED CARPET. Ok, ok, I don’t want to sound jaded because maybe it is fun for some but it’s really not my style- you have to yell at people, practically assault them to come and talk to you, step on other reporters to get an interview and when the celebs finally get to your spot, you have a snippy publicist telling you to wrap it up after about 30 seconds… Sorry but it’s the honest truth! I’ve been doing the MTV VMA’s carpet for almost 10 years now (yup, my very first one was in 2003 if my fragile mind recalls) and one thing MTV does know how to do is have some fun- more fun than most other awards shows! I always like to make the best of any situation even if I WAS the second to last person in line (oh yeah, it was a rough time getting anyone to talk to me but thank the good Lord in heaven some people recognized me) Here I am discussing VMA fashion with Katrina Szish on The Couch via the KCBS studios in LA… ENYOY!
