David Stark Labor Day Party Plans & Mob Wife Renee Graziano brings Mob Candy to The Couch!

I had so much going on this week that literally, my eyes are fluttering right now as I type this from over exhaustion.  Between meetings, workouts, shoots, lunches, making dinners AND watching Spaceballs with my husband (go ahead, make fun of me, it was the first time I saw it) this week was jam packed but that’s how I like it. For some reason, I totally adopted my Dad’s attitude when it comes to work: more is better. I like to be busy so that when I DO get a minute to rest, I feel like I deserve it!

Our Friday show was stacked with some of the best guests and it was so nice to see familiar friends come to The Couch! We had party planner David Stark give us Labor Day party ideas which you can find here (seriously, his ideas looked so great and they’re really easy for anyone to do- plus his Sangria recipe is below!) We also had my buddy Renee Graziano from Mob Wives on VH1 check in with us about her new line of shoes and her cosmetics line Mob Candy!  We even had a little sangria in our Couch cups to kick the holiday weekend off- yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

I hope you guys enjoy the day off (for those of you who do get to sleep in on Monday- I don’t ;))
and also just want to take a minute to thank you all again for keeping up to date with what is going on in my life. Hopefully, one day soon, I’ll be able to wake you up again not just in NY, NJ and CT but EVERYWHERE.  Until then, I’ll make sure I fill you in on everything that’s going on right here! Have a great Labor Day weekend and please, enjoy your sangria or whatever else you’re imbibing responsibly!

xoxo

WHITE SANGRIA

6 cups dry white wine (pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc)

1/4 cup super fine sugar

1 cup white grape juice

1 cup white grapes

1 orange and 1 lemon thinly sliced

1 cup soda water

Combine wine and sugar in pitcher until sugar dissolves completely. Add remaining ingredients except for soda water. Mix well.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours- the longer it sits, the sweeter it gets.

Pour into glasses, top off with soda and have a blast!
